A screw press is a type of equipment that uses physical extrusion for dehydration. The equipment generally consists of a drive system, a feed box, a screw auger, a screen, a blocking device, a collection tank, a frame, and other parts.
The material in the dehydration process enters the equipment from the feed box and is transported towards the discharge port under the rotation of the spiral dragon. In terms of structural design, the screw extrusion pressure is gradually increased by changing the screw distance and the diameter of the dragon shaft. The material is subjected to progressive pressure, and excess water is discharged from the discharge port through the sieve. Through a special feeding design, the material is prevented from clumping and blocking during transportation. The dehydrated material continues to move forward under the transportation of the spiral dragon and is subjected to resistance from the blocking device to complete the second stage of extrusion dehydration. The blocking device is opened and discharged from the discharge port.
For different materials to be dehydrated, analysis and experiments need to be conducted on their moisture content. Different materials adopt different spiral and screen structures to achieve efficient dehydration, no material leakage, no shaft sticking, low wear, save processing costs for secondary recycling of material dehydration, and improve equipment service life.
Working principle
 The working principle of the screw press dewatering machine mainly utilizes the rotational motion of the screw motor to feed the material into the interior of the screw from the feeding port. Under the action of the spiral, the material is compressed and squeezed, thereby squeezing out the moisture in the material. As the spiral rotates, the squeezed water is discharged through the outlet, while the dry material flows out from the outlet.
