MBBR working principle
The principle of technology is to increase the biomass and species of organisms in the reactor by adding a certain amount of suspended carriers, thereby improving the treatment efficiency of the reactor. Due to the density of the filler being close to that of water, it is completely mixed with water during aeration, and the environment for microbial growth is gas, liquid, and solid three-phase. The collision and shear effects of the carrier in water make the air bubbles finer, increasing the utilization rate of oxygen. In addition, there are different types of organisms inside and outside each rock mass, with anaerobic or facultative bacteria growing inside and aerobic bacteria growing outside. This allows for the simultaneous presence of nitrification and denitrification reactions, thereby improving the treatment efficiency. The MBBR process relies on the aeration in the aeration tank and the lifting effect of water flow to keep the carrier in a fluidized state, thereby forming suspended activated sludge and attached biofilm. This allows the moving bed biofilm to use the entire reactor space, and the suspended filler can come into frequent and multiple contact with the sewage

Advantages of MBBR integrated sewage treatment equipment
(1) Good ammonia removal ability: aerobic, anoxic, and anaerobic environments are formed on the filler, and nitrification and denitrification reactions can occur in one reactor, with good effects on the removal of ammonia nitrogen.
(2) Good removal effect of organic matter: The sludge concentration in the reactor is relatively high, with a general sludge concentration of 5-10 times that of the ordinary activated sludge method, which can reach as high as 30-40g/L. It improves the efficiency of organic matter treatment and has strong resistance to impact loads.
(3) Easy to maintain and manage: There is no need to install filler brackets in the aeration tank, making maintenance of the filler and the aeration device at the bottom of the tank convenient.
(4) We have conducted in-depth research on the chemical characteristics of the filler surface and the detachment mechanism of the suspended filler, increasing the specific surface area of the filler; The joint filler manufacturer has applied activated carbon, starch, gelatin, and other bioactive additives to promote the growth and colonization of microorganisms through suspended fillers.
(5) Multi stage MBBR, MBBR, and A/O combined processes all have their own advantages, and a series of practical applications have been carried out on these combined process combinations.
(6) By studying the fluid dynamics of the reactor and determining its shape, the optimal reactor structure can be achieved, thereby avoiding packing and reducing energy consumption.
