The lamella settler is a device mainly used in water separation to remove solid from water by means of gravity.
Because of the Lamella technology, a Lamella Settler with minimum 20% footprint of a conventional one is still capable of
processing the same water amount. This technology based on Shallow Tank Theory uses inclined plates to separate solid from water flow, reaching a high separation rate. The sludge cohered to plates will slope down to the conical bottom for further dewatering and concentrating, while the upper flow clean water is collected by the container above.
Working Principle:
Our high efficiency clarifier is designed to effectively separate solid particles from wastewater, ensuring efficient wastewater treatment and compliance with environmental regulations. The clarifier operates based on the principle of sedimentation, utilizing gravity to separate suspended solids from the liquid.
The wastewater enters the clarifier tank and flows slowly, allowing the solid particles to settle at the bottom due to gravity. The settled solids form a sludge layer, while the clarified liquid rises to the top. The sludge is then collected and removed for further treatment or disposal. The clarified liquid is discharged or sent for additional treatment, ensuring clean water reuse or environmental discharge.
