The rubber ball cleaning system  is a suitable equipment for effectively cleaning the cooling pipes of the condenser during the operation of a steam turbine generator set. The performance of this device directly affects the cleanliness and heat transfer efficiency of the condenser. It is an indispensable equipment for improving the economic efficiency of power plants and ensuring the safe operation of condensers

 Working principle:
 
Select a suitable sponge rubber ball, with a wet diameter slightly larger than the inner diameter of the cooling tube (approximately 1-2mm), and a wet specific gravity similar to that of water. Put the rubber ball into the ball loading chamber, with a quantity of about 10% of the copper pipes in the inlet chamber of the condenser. Then start the rubber ball pump and open the ball valves at both ends of the system. The rubber ball is driven by the water flow with slightly higher inlet pressure of the circulating water and enters the water chamber of the condenser. As the rubber ball is a soft elastic body with multiple micropores, it is squeezed through the cooling pipe under the pressure difference at the inlet of the circulating water, and the inner diameter of the cooling pipe is wiped, causing dirt on the inner wall of the pipe to be carried out with the water flow. The rubber ball enters the ball collecting net through the outlet pipe of the circulating water, and is blocked by the ball collecting net plate, Separate the rubber ball, extract it by the rubber ball pump, and return to the ball loading chamber, so as to achieve continuous automatic cleaning of the condenser cooling pipe in a cyclic manner.

1. Rubber ball cleaning device - ball collecting net
The ball collecting net is a key equipment of the rubber ball cleaning system, its function is to separate the rubber ball from the cooling water and ensure that there is no leakage or jamming of the ball. The ball collecting net is installed on the cooling water outlet pipe section. When the water carrying rubber balls flows out of the condenser and passes through the ball collecting net, the balls are collected and led out from the ball collecting net through the outlet pipe. The grid plate of the ball collecting net can rotate. When the rubber ball circulates, the grid plate is placed in the "receiving" position. When the rubber ball is not used for cleaning, the grid plate is placed in the "backwashing" position. At this time, the debris on the grid plate is washed away by water, while reducing the water resistance of the grid plate.
2. Rubber ball cleaning device - secondary filter screen:
When the cooling water is mixed with impurities and passes through the system, the impurities are blocked by the small hole filter screen on the upstream surface of the filter screen. The cooling water is purified through the small hole and enters the condenser. The backwashing device in the filter screen and the sewage valve are interlocked for backwashing, and the water flow is reversed. The impurities stuck on the inlet surface are backwashed by the water flow and separated from the mesh hole and led out by the sewage valve. As long as the purification filter screen keeps working, the cooling water entering the condenser will always be clean, and the resistance of the filter screen will not increase.
4. Rubber ball cleaning device - rubber ball pump
The rubber ball pump is the power source that continuously circulates the rubber ball in the rubber ball cleaning device. The water flow from the dense balls in the ball collecting net passes through the rubber ball pump and increases the pressure to send it into the cooling water pipe. This pump is a specialized barrier free centrifugal pump with the characteristics of not blocking the ball, not damaging the ball, and minimal wear on the rubber ball. According to different usage conditions, different parameters and specifications of the rubber ball pump are selected. It is recommended to choose a high lift rubber ball pump to ensure the normal recovery of the ball
