Revolving Water Decanter
The Rotary Decanter is an essential piece of mechanical equipment frequently utilized in CASS, ICEAS, and various other wastewater treatment processes. This sophisticated device seamlessly adjusts its position, rising and falling automatically with water level changes during the drainage phase. It meticulously discharges the treated supernatant from the surface, while effectively trapping surface scum in the reaction tank, ensuring pristine results.
Working Principle:
The decanter typically remains stationary at the upper section of the water level within the pool.
At the designated time, the decanter's weir mouth is lowered beneath the water surface via a motor, reducer, and push rod mechanism. This triggers a signal from the liquid level switch to commence decanting. Simultaneously, water buoyancy activates the pontoon's scum retaining mechanism, which clears and blocks scum, allowing the supernatant to flow into the weir groove and begin decanting. The liquid is then expelled from the pool via the horizontal rotary drain pipe. Once the decanting reaches the preset water level or time, the system halts and repositions the weir mouth to its initial spot, completing a decanting cycle and awaiting the next command.
